About me
I was born in Tewksbury, New Jersey to wonderful well-traveled parents. Our home was always decorated with art from their travels, and as a child, I was able to view a wide range of mediums from Singaporean paintings, Italian sculptures, and British teapots. While my focus is clay, I still enjoy creating with other mediums.
I graduated in May of 2022 with my BFA and 3D concentration from Messiah University. In June, after graduating, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Todi, Italy to work as an artist. In Todi I was welcomed into the community as a young artist and navigated speaking and working in a whole new language.
After my travels ended in September I decided to embark on a new adventure working as an apprenticeship for a local potter in Virginia! Check out Silvie Granatelli for more information: https://www.silviegranatelli.com
Now I am preparing to go to Graduate school for Art Restoration and Conservation.
